Our Services
The Salaam Center aims to serve the refugee community in all walks of life. We seek to provide for the physical needs and services of our community, as well as providing a safe space for all in our community to gather. The community at the Salaam Center continues to grow into a diverse mosaic of people that are supporting and caring for one another.
Volunteers
Volunteers are available at our center on weekdays from 8AM – 5PM to assist refugees with various social services.
Free Classes
We have citizenship classes and English classes of different levels that are open and free for local refugees.
Meeting Tangible Needs
We respond to the physical needs of refugees by providing food, hygienic items, or other needs.
Children’s Program
We offer activities for families to help with cultural adjustments and strengthen family relationships.
Christmas Party
We host an annual Christmas Party where we share the story of Jesus, music, food and friendships.
School Supplies
We have citizenship classes and English classes of different levels that are open to refugees.
