Celebrate the season by spreading joy to families in need! This year each Salaam Center Christmas Party guest will receive a gift card. We are now collecting donations of $50 Visa Gift Cards. Please send or deliver gift cards to the Salaam Center.
donate via pay pal
Make donations directly through Pay Pal. We welcome financial donations from both individuals and churches. Plan a small fundraising event at your church or any convenient place, where we can share about the Center’s activities and outreach endeavors.

Write a check using the following details: Pleasant View Baptist Church in Port Deposit, MD handles the finances for the Center. Tax-deductible donations can be made through Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, MD 21904. Please designate checks in the memo line for the Salaam Center (used for expenses or benevolence of the Center) or Narouz Family Support (helps support the Director and his family).

donate to amazon wishlist
For several years, the Center has provided back packs and school supplies to the children of the families they serve to encourage the kids and help them start the new school year off well. If you or your churches are able to provide any back packs and/or school supplies, it would be much appreciated. They would like to receive the items by mid-August so they can assemble the bags and give them out to the families right before school begins.
donate items
Items we are looking for include hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap or body wash, lotions, feminine hygiene products, etc.; food items (no canned goods other than tuna or chicken) such as flour, sugar, olive or cooking oil, Jasmine or Basmati rice, cereal, fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee, tea bags, nuts of any kind; laundry detergent; diapers, especially larger sizes; basic household and kitchen items; furniture (please send photo first as the Center has very limited storage space, so larger items need to go directly to a family); and used clothings/shoes/coats in good condition.
